Milad Yousufi was born in Afghanistan in 1995, when music was banned under Taliban rule. Now residing in the US, his works express the complex feelings towards his country of birth — feeling abandoned yet longing to go back to it. Yousufi’s dream is to make a difference to the music and culture of Afghanistan.
